Dear DurhamEnable

I have dedicated my personal time and energy to supporting DurhamEnable, including attending funding forums and actively contributing to its mission. To be mistreated in this way, followed by an evasive and inadequate response to a serious complaint—with no clear or definitive social media policies provided—has left me unable, in good faith, to continue trusting your organisation.

The decision to terminate the podcast, which was part of the employment-seeking support, based on vague and unsubstantiated accusations, amounts to direct discrimination against my community. It is both unprofessional and unacceptable.

I can no longer continue engaging with an organisation that lacks transparency, integrity, and accountability—particularly when it fails to uphold the very principles of support and inclusion it claims to stand for.

This is not support. This is a harmful and maladaptive response that undermines the very people you are supposed to empower.
