I’m trying to anchor myself to my to-do list, because there are things that need doing and people I don’t want to let down. Even when I’m running on empty, that still matters to me. What people often fail to understand is that when platforms and positions are abused — when negativity is encouraged, amplified, or weaponised — it doesn’t stay online. It has real-world consequences. And if you’re disabled, already living with chronic pain, fatigue, and limited capacity, those consequences hit harder. I’m not expecting everyone to understand.
