The #CourtOfSocialMedia has spoken. #Judge #Jury and #Executioner ...and I'm still proud of me. ❤️✨ This isn't new to me. 🙏🏻✨ I'm neurodivergent. I've spent much of my life watching people rush to conclusions, make assumptions, and form opinions before all the facts are known. I've seen victims blamed. I've seen rumours spread faster than evidence. I've seen narratives become accepted as truth simply because they were repeated often enough. Abuse is often loud. Self-defence can get lost in the noise and judged as harshly as the behaviour it is responding to. The world isn't always fair. I blog about both my highs and my lows because I believe in transparency and authenticity. I want people facing similar hardships to know they are not alone. I've been accused of having an "agenda" more times than I can count.  When people speak out, they are doing so to seek resolution and solutions. If someone chooses to remain anonymous, that is a protective and safeguarding measure. It is actually slanderous to assume that anonymous complaints are themselves slander, when the clear intent is to raise concerns, resolve issues, and highlight harm that needs addressing. When people ask for modern-day accountability, it is rarely achieved. Anonymity often provides essential protection for those highlighting genuine issues — especially in environments where people become so loyal to organisations or companies that they attack the complainant instead of allowing harm to be acknowledged and rectified. Feedback is necessary for progress. Speaking about a bad experience is never slander — it is a request for accountability.  To whomever has reported me to UC I'm not receiving any income as of yet and can provide the evidence to prove it. I'm an unpaid independent disability advocate, unpaid independent visitor, unpaid charity and community worker and I am seeking paid employment and trying to set up a sole tradership. I don't lie. I'm transparent af. I keep things right and I help people. Maybe you should start doing the same. I can also do a SAR request and take you to court under the malicious communications act.   I should be able to speak on my hometown’s radio. I should be able to share my lived experience as a Newtonian, to explain why I have started a petition calling for the legalisation of regulated pepper spray for self-defence. My hard work should and could be printed and represented. I should be heard by the very community I belong to. Instead, I am being invited to speak by people outside of this town — radio presenters, podcasters, campaigners — who see value in my voice and my work. Support and representation should never be conditional. It should never be “sometimes.” It should never depend on who you’re liked by, controlled by, or aligned with. Not Their Enemy, Just Their Reminder: Some people see genuine support as a threat because they’ve been too busy being maladaptive, nepotistic, and sabotaging others while pretending to help. They weaponise their so-called “support” to harm, and they don’t want those they’ve pushed out of the community — their self-proclaimed elite — to have a real voice. They thrive on ostracising, silencing, and blacklisting others. I’ve lived it, so of course I get trolled and attacked for running a magazine that gives everyone a voice and refuses to leave anyone out. Because of a false community protection notice I received, there are now two organisations and a company I can’t publish about in the magazine. Newton News/Newton Press, representation matters: To my friends who were waiting to see my Disability Awareness Speech photos with The Rotary Newton Aycliffe in the Newton News — I’m sorry to say I haven’t been printed again. Newton Press has failed to represent myself, my work, and my community. I had hoped this would be a chance to build bridges, to move past how poorly I’ve been treated in the past, and to ensure that our disabled community has a fair voice. I was even willing to repair those bridges and take down my factual review of my mistreatment if the paper had shown a sign of wanting resolution — by being fair, accessible, and inclusive towards myself and our disabled community. Sadly, that hasn’t happened. Personal biases clearly exist, and it seems they can’t be resolved — you can’t reason with the unreasonable. Putting Yourself Out There Isn’t Easy Anymore: These days, putting yourself out there—whether as an advocate, an influencer, or simply someone trying to bring people together—is far from easy. Access to people seems like an open target, and the moment you step forward with good intentions, you expose yourself to criticism, ridicule, or worse. I’ve seen too many advocates and influencers lost to suicide, depression, and bullying. My condolences go out to their families and friends, because I know firsthand how isolating and painful that journey can be. As an autistic individual living with several disabilities, I understand how simply being different—and daring to want to help others—can make you a target. The behaviour I flagged involved public misinformation, a misuse of influence, and actions that had already harmed me and others in the community—especially those of us who are vulnerable or marginalised. I keep reading posts online about a gentleman I encountered and it appears that I am not an isolated incident. I Stand Against Bullying, Corruption, and the Silencing of Disabled Voices In my personal and lived experience, Anthony Beddard has demonstrated a severe lack of integrity and accountability. I am currently involved with the Crime Commissioner regarding how I, a disabled woman, was ostracised and mistreated by individuals in power—including Anthony Beddard—who chose to side with abusive behaviour rather than support or protect me. When I sought an apology for the unacceptable telephone manner I experienced from Paul Howarth, I was instead met with hostility, false accusations, and ultimately blacklisted from Aycliffe Radio. If you don't like me, unfriend me off the internet 💯 We all know someone who stalks our pages, never likes anything, just keeps an eye on you for personal gain so they can criticise you behind the scenes and some have even sabotaged opportunities and caused discrimination and unfairness regarding my disability advocacy.
