SPD Charity ONLINE!!

As many know i have been trying to start a charity for SPD for almost 2 years now! It's been a long time and a lot of research later here we are.

I need to state that the charity will be and is in no way affiliated with this blog page i set up and the facebook group. I will be running it as a seperate support site. Meanwhile while we wait for things people are welcome to use this site and the faceook group still.

The charity website and name is http://www.supportpelvicdysfunction.co.uk and is online and working :)

I have less than 12 months to raise the required 5k so i can register for charity status, meanwhile gather some trustess and get everything else organised.

I have high requirements for the trustees, CRB checks, they need training or experience in confidentiality, customer support and/or customer services, data protection act awareness, no secrets workbook for vulnerable adults, counselling and related liabilities, and much more.

Importantly i need people i can trust and who will help guide the charity and funding in the right directions, supporting all my aims and ideas for the charity.

You are more than welcome to share this charity address as we will be enabling online donation facilities soon and we need as much awareness as we can get!

We appreciate all the help we have received up until this point and i hope that we can be helped now through this most important stage!

~New Chapters~ Connor has been a great support to me and we've had a lot of deep soul searching talks where we are working together on making our lives better. We've clashed and made mistakes but we're working together towards a more positive and brighter future for us both. I'm not easy to deal with sometimes, I struggle with my disabilities and have CPTSD etc and Connor has ADHD (which I also likely have) and having talked about the way we get hyper fixated etc we have found better ways of getting one another's attention so neither of us feel so alone or ignored. Sad times at the RVI.

I got triggered today from this memory: When my bairn had leukemia, we were coming back from the hospital with all the fun things he created with his mam. Social services need reprimanded for their complete chaotic and sadistic behaviour and corruption but my son is healthy and alive and well now. They prevented me from seeing him in hospital then LIED to the court judge with cleverly worded paragraphs that would not explain that it was THEIR fault and instead implied we didn't care. I was LIVID!  I missed out on so much after being newly diagnosed with a disability myself and ending up in a wheelchair, and I had lost my business and everything, but that wasn't enough for the UK system. They had to harm this family and I believe in karma and the universe and my son KNOWS the truth and knows he is loved even if it did cause a divide in the family and my brother is estranged. ⚠️TW: Sexual harassment at work:⚠️ After the fight with the council over my garden bulky waste, I went back into a deep depression and even my housing officer noticed. I feel like I'm fighting a losing battle to get people to care about the disabled, especially when it's professionals and organisations we rely on. Durham county council's email had me horrified and I escalated it and will be taking it further. Even if they reword their website so they're not robbing the disabled, it would be an improvement! They should rebook at no cost or at least call people to ensure and check, or cross reference addresses with the assist list. But that would mean actually doing work and I worked for the council before actually, and it was pathetic who they hired and how they almost lost the council their recycling/bins contract and yet you get the blame, even though you were only a temp and you did the work of three people as one lady designed t-shirts and the other planned her weddi
