Baby! My labour and SPD:

Well on the 20th November 2009 our baby boy was born :D

I was 2-3cm's dilated anyway but I had to be induced early 38+2 due to SPD pain and had my waters broken and took in my birth plan etc... The contractions were fine but the pelvic pain was unbearable and as the baby moved further down etc. it got too much so needed an epidural.

I had epidural top ups and gas and air too.

My husband was by my side throughout and he was a godsend, I am really lucky! <3

I was in labour 13 hours and tried to push the baby out for an hour - hour and a half and he was just stuck. Ended up having an emergency C-section after a second top up of epidural and he was just perfect. Apgar score of 9!

I lost a lot of blood and had a drain placed in and was given a prolene stitch with bead ends.

All in all: There will be no other moment in my husband or I's life that will come even close to the birth of our son. Apart from the SPD life is perfect!

The nurses were perfect, midwife (M) she was fantastic!!! They understood SPD and I was so glad to have changed hospitals. :D

I got triggered today from this memory: When my bairn had leukemia, we were coming back from the hospital with all the fun things he created with his mam. Social services need reprimanded for their complete chaotic and sadistic behaviour and corruption but my son is healthy and alive and well now. They prevented me from seeing him in hospital then LIED to the court judge with cleverly worded paragraphs that would not explain that it was THEIR fault and instead implied we didn't care. I was LIVID!  I missed out on so much after being newly diagnosed with a disability myself and ending up in a wheelchair, and I had lost my business and everything, but that wasn't enough for the UK system. They had to harm this family and I believe in karma and the universe and my son KNOWS the truth and knows he is loved even if it did cause a divide in the family and my brother is estranged. ~New Chapters~ Connor has been a great support to me and we've had a lot of deep soul searching talks where we are working together on making our lives better. We've clashed and made mistakes but we're working together towards a more positive and brighter future for us both. I'm not easy to deal with sometimes, I struggle with my disabilities and have CPTSD etc and Connor has ADHD (which I also likely have) and having talked about the way we get hyper fixated etc we have found better ways of getting one another's attention so neither of us feel so alone or ignored. We both love one another and we've both been working on our own mental health and boundaries. So far I think we've had a lot of lessons learned and we can start again from a place of deeper understanding. That's what's important. ⚠️TW: Sexual harassment at work:⚠️ After the fight with the council over my garden bulky waste, I went back into a deep depression and even my housing officer noticed. I feel like I'm fighting a losing battle to get people to care about the disabled, especially when it's professionals and organisations we rely on. Durham county council's email had me horrified and I escalated it and will be taking it further. Even if they reword their website so they're not robbing the disabled, it would be an improvement! They should rebook at no cost or at least call people to ensure and check, or cross reference addresses with the assist list. But that would mean actually doing work and I worked for the council before actually, and it was pathetic who they hired and how they almost lost the council their recycling/bins contract and yet you get the blame, even though you were only a temp and you did the work of three people as one lady designed t-shirts and the other planned her weddi
