Merry Christmas!

I hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas holiday and you're all relaxing and taking the time to reminisce on the good parts of this last year!

I spent it with my new partner, parents and my brother and his wife. My son was asleep as he had been enjoying his PS5 gift from momma early. Ahaha. I checked on him, tucked him in and gave him a kiss on his forehead. He's grown so much since he was a baby. Always has the same baby smell though, momma's know.

My mam made a beautiful dinner as always, it's always the best part of Christmas and growing up it's always been the moment I've looked forward to. I thoroughly enjoyed the food today and it was the first time I had my dinner at my parents after years of being stuck in the house and achy.

It was nice.

I'm so grateful today and still blown away with how much my life has changed for the better.

My best friend got me beautiful flowers yesterday and when I got back from my parents today, my friend came over and we've been enjoying the rest of Christmas together and making each other laugh.

My new partner is popping back and my friends son is going to join us for a bit, so it's so nice to be surrounded by good people.

I've never been happier and I hope this continues. Obviously bad things in life will happen and we can't change that but I'm aiming to move forward and try not to let the bad things bother me as much, keeping focus on the good things more and constantly moving towards my goals.

Every day is a new chance, a new opportunity, to be better than yesterday.

I want to take this moment to appreciate everything I have right now and everything, all I'm building towards, and I hope that everyone out there can see how far they've come too and what you've overcome.

It's the perfect time to think about the future as well as embrace the present, focus on growth from the last year's life lessons and appreciate the family and friends you have around you, because not everyone is as lucky.

For some this is a difficult time of year.

For those struggling, please know people care and think of you too.

It's okay to not have all the answers and not have everything figured out, all we have is the 'now' and it's up to each and every one of us to do our best to create a life around us that we want.

It's not easy and life throws obstacles at you but it's important to see your worth and not let the world ever tell you or convince you that you're worthless. No-one is worthless. We are all important and even if you don't have much, make sure you celebrate YOU today.

Stay strong and remember to believe in yourself.

As we come to the end of the festive season, I’d like to remind everyone to take a moment to reflect on how far you’ve come and the strength you’ve shown. Life isn’t always easy, but every day offers a new opportunity to grow, focus on the positives, and keep working towards your goals.

For those facing difficulties, please remember that you’re not alone, and your worth is immeasurable. Take time to celebrate yourself today, no matter where you are in life.

Thank you for being here, for reading, and for sharing this journey with me. I hope you’ve had a wonderful Christmas filled with love and hope. Be kind to yourself and embrace the possibilities of tomorrow.

With love,

Sarah  ❤️ xo
