...and i thought it was all over...

..I havent wrote in this for a long time as I have been struggling to come to terms with the fact I am now disabled for life. I have hypermobility syndrome and I keep seazing up and cannot move, we now have carelink. (this caused my severe SPD) Something traumatising happened to me at a local hospital to the extent i have to vent about it, i need to talk about it and i need to get over it! (update urgently, i have just heard an answerphone message from the dr stating her name askign if my husband can come to a and e as i am being violent and aggressive to members and staff and the public and can he come urgently please, i hope they have cctv please God let them have cctv!!!) Phoned the police and they said i need to complain directly to the hospital...so I am going to do that, I notified icas and p.a.l.s. already and just waiting for some help... How can she do this to me??? I was immobile left on the floor screaming for help...... i am shaking, i just want to be left al...

Hiding away and hoping...

I have been hiding away and avoidant again for a while but now i need to speak up again... Xmas is over now and we had a nice xmas as we stayed at my parents and they had bought a sofa and a matching sofa bed for their living room just for us!! Can you believe it, changed their furniture just so i would be able to sleep over at xmas. I love them so much! We are still fighting for a stairlift, our son is 6 weeks old 1st january and I am still trying to get my 6 weeks check up. Whats happened about the stairlift? Well, my new consultant originally refused to send social a letter about me as he refuses all his patients since a check from the county council previously bounced therefore its been seriously held up. My SPD's getting much worse and a while ago now i was in hospital with the stomach pains, different to SPD pains and the consultant who saw me on the 10th the one who discharged me without telling me who i was reassigned to on the 10th Dec said that it would subsid...

So i contacted a company in charge of many PREGNANCY, MOTHER & CHILDREN magazines:

For confidentiality purposes and for respect of identity protection, personal info about myself and the lady who replied have been removed. They are irrelevant... (my emails are black text, hers are purple.) Things in brackets are where I have removed content, think you'll see these clearly: My last e-mail reply: -------------- "FYI, I am not a sales person, i am not selling anything, especially my disability, i have suffered for a long time and i don't want any other women to go through what i am going through and i certainly was not 'pitching' i understand that you deal with many people looking to make lots of money to line their pockets but i am proud to state i am not one of them. I have worked for my money, helped charites, worked for the NHS as a L.D. Nurse cadet, with all the fantastic disabled children and adults the world decide to shut out. I was trying to contact magazines that state they care about women and their pregnancies but i see now that maybe yo...

Enough is enough!

Why do they make it such a stressful experience when you call G.P's? They don't take me seriously, do they really think I am crying for nothing and lazy as opposed to actually being housebound and in a serious amount of pain? I'm fed up of this treatment and I will no longer be putting up with it, I am struggling to cope with my pain without meds and I am sick of not being treat with respect or taken seriously by them, enough is enough! Even if it means I now have to write formal complaint after formal complaint and document everything , something seriously needs to be done; I am not prepared to be disabled for the rest of my life and I have the right to help and to not be made to suffer like this. I am crying as I need their help, so they should be helpful, instead of saying inappropriate opinionated remarks that there is no need for, are unjustifiable and unprovoked. Today I am proud to say that I finally cut myself off and stated that I do not have to justify my conditi...

Fobbed off much?

Well I was sent to hospital yesterday morning early hours by an out of hours urgent care DR. I had a female problem and increased bleeding and large clots etc.... (not very nice to state in a blog really is it, but anyway that was the problem.) The lady Dr that examined me was adamant I should try to have the examination without the use of gas and air, and didn't have my notes, so obviously didn't take me seriously and I am still suffering now! Internally I am in agony and she has made my SPD worse. I was crying during and after and got some gas and air but when it started working she took the gas and air off me. She then kept saying assertively which i did not appreciate, (my name) look at me! Look at me! Over and over. It got to the point where she said (my name) your pulse is normal! I replied, it has been normal before when I have been in agony with pain that it has taken morphine to reduce, and she kept saying (my name) look at me! over and over again. I then said you are ...

Funerals, Clexane and Anemia:

I am still broken hearted that we had a death in the family recently, which hit the whole family hard so we cannot even try to imagine what the mam (our relative) feels like. It was unfortunately the death of a baby which we all loved. I am not going to go into details as I don't want to upset the lady I am talking about as she has been through enough. What I will say is at the funeral my heart was broken for everyone especially the mother, our relative whom I think the world of, she is the most amazing lady you would ever meet and a fantastic mother. Heart of gold! I felt awkward and in the way as I attended with my wheelchair and didn't want people to make such a fuss when I was offered the opportunity to throw petals which is bringing me to tears now, just thinking about it. We will never 'get over' this and we will carry her memory in our hearts forever. * * * I am now injecting myself daily with Clexane which is not exactly a nice experience. (This is because I c...

Isolation and a drama queen

I have been stearing away from updating my blog as lot's more things have happened and I basically have not been able to deal with them right now. I have become more introverted and have never felt more alone. I keep venting on facebook and all I can imagine is that people will have gotten sick of me whinging by now, that lass who always feels sorry for herself etc..... well I don't feel sorry for myself I just don't have anyone to talk to and feel so alone right now. Never in my life have I been in a position where I cannot walk. I have been in positions before where I have been in constant pain for long periods of time but from those I had gaps in. i.e. endometriosis etc. This time I have had no gaps and it hurts everytime I move, even the slightest. What mam can I be now? My husband will have to help again so much and it really is not fair on him. I spend most of my life trying to cheer people up and help people and right now I feel like everyone is my enemy, but I have ...
