You Don’t Get to Discredit What You Didn’t Build:

Image
Honestly? I get why this hit a nerve for me, the sacrifices I make, the pain I endure... I've worked for what I've built — while managing chronic pain, advocacy, multiple creative projects — and someone reducing that down to “is it even real?” is going to feel dismissive, even if they try to frame it as a “genuine question.” That said… my instinct to block, protect my space, and move on is actually the healthiest move here. Not every comment deserves my energy — especially when I've already provided proof (IMDb, my work, my portfolio). People won't support your hard work but will invade your lane to question the work, the journey, the achievements — especially when they haven’t taken the time to understand any of it. I act. I produce. I create. I build — consistently, independently, and often while managing chronic pain that most people couldn’t even comprehend. 👊🏻✨ So when someone tries to reduce that to “is this even real?” — it doesn’t hit insecurity, it highlights...

When People Speak Out:

Image
When people speak out, they are doing so to seek resolution and solutions. If someone chooses to remain anonymous, that is a protective and safeguarding measure. It is actually slanderous to assume that anonymous complaints are themselves slander, when the clear intent is to raise concerns, resolve issues, and highlight harm that needs addressing. When people ask for modern-day accountability, it is rarely achieved. Anonymity often provides essential protection for those highlighting genuine issues — especially in environments where people become so loyal to organisations or companies that they attack the complainant instead of allowing harm to be acknowledged and rectified. Feedback is necessary for progress. Speaking about a bad experience is never slander — it is a request for accountability. From personal experience, formal complaints processes can expose people to further abuse, targeting, and retaliation, while still failing to resolve the original issue. If someone chooses ...

When Medical Authority Becomes Abuse:

Image
When Medical Authority Becomes Abuse: While decluttering today, I came across my formal complaint from 2009 — the one where I challenged a gynaecologist (I’ll call him Mr O) who was repeatedly abusive and inappropriate towards me during pregnancy. Reading his responses now, with distance and clarity, the hypocrisy is glaring. His explanations don’t hold up against medical facts. He openly shows disdain toward me for using medical knowledge to challenge his behaviour — particularly around the treatment of Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction, which he clearly misrepresented. He attempts to justify referring me for psychiatric evaluations and social services investigations, presenting this as “normal duty of care for every mother.” He supports this narrative by claiming I was abusive and that everyone around me would say the same. Of course they would — because he had already primed staff by labelling me “psychosomatic.” He dismissed my documented physical needs, including my need for a stairlift...

When “Civil Matters” Have Real-World Consequences:

Image
When “Civil Matters” Have Real-World Consequences I’m struggling to understand how what’s happening to me is being treated as a “civil matter” when the consequences are anything but civil. I have been publicly lied about. Not minor misunderstandings, not harmless gossip — but allegations that, if believed, put my safety at real risk. Yet I’m told this is not something the police can address. That it’s a matter for Facebook, page admins, or civil legal advice. At the same time, I was issued with a Community Protection Notice over a single comment and shares, made while speaking about mistreatment and harm I’ve experienced. That contradiction is impossible to ignore. If online behaviour is considered a civil issue, then it’s deeply concerning that enforcement action was taken against me, while repeated public misinformation about me continues unchecked and dismissed. False allegations do not exist in a vacuum. They shape how people see you, how they treat you, and whether you are safe in...

Why it's not an equal playing field:

Image
"What's wrong with society isn't just abusers, it's those that are indoctrinated with toxic ideals that ENABLE the abusers" What’s wrong with society isn’t just abusers — it’s the toxic ideals that enable them. I keep seeing comments aimed at girls and women saying “respect is mutual” as if we all exist on equal ground. We don’t. That argument deliberately ignores reality. In many countries, girls have no legal rights at all. They are not safe in hospitals, not safe in schools, not safe within systems meant to protect them. They are abused by teachers, doctors, police officers, relatives — the very people society tells them to trust. Disabled girls and women are often forced onto contraception, not for their autonomy or wellbeing, but because male violence is so normalised that the responsibility is placed on victims instead of perpetrators. And this isn’t rare. It’s systemic. Nine-year-old girls are being married off and dying from internal bleeding. Female genit...

CPN comes to an end but the hate is neverending:

Image
CPN has come to an end but the hate is neverending: Happy to announce that the false Community Protection Notice issued against me has now officially come to an end - after having to do a SAR request for the information and end dates. This notice was pushed by: • Amy Turner (Sisters of Support) – who repeatedly harassed my inbox and coerced members of her support group into lying to the police about me, after bullying me out of the group and breaking a verbal agreement to remain impartial between them, the police, and myself. • Anthony Beddard (All Disabilities Matter | Cllr) – who prioritised promotions over disabled rights, publicly thanked someone who had been abusive to me, and then lied to the police. He is now a councillor at Great Aycliffe Town Council. • Paul Howarth (Newton Press / Ayclive) – who caused the entire ordeal after being verbally abusive to my son and me over the phone because he refused to represent me fairly, and then refused to apologise. He continued this beh...

Hate me:

Today I was spoken down to — simply because I’m white. Yes. Really. My skin tone. 😵‍💫 It’s not the first time, and let’s be honest, it won’t be the last — which is surreal, because I genuinely thought we were past this. For me, it’s bizarre because I have never judged anyone by the colour of their skin. That’s not who I am and not how I move in this world. I acknowledge discrimination in all its forms — but I choose helping over harming. Always. 🤘🏻 I was talking about the charities I work with and the support I give to women and girls globally — and I was told to “shut up” purely because of the body I was born in. It reminded me of being a child, watching people mock or fear what was simply different, instead of understanding that actions define character — not skin. My great aunt had Down syndrome, and people used to speak to her like she was less. Yet she was intelligent, warm, and deeply perceptive. Difference is not inferiority. Never has been. The woman who said this to me was...
