Growth starts with Accountability:

Image
Remember: Growth starts with accountability. I have never been diagnosed with, or experienced, paranoia. I also experience no side effects from my prescribed medical cannabis, none, which I use exactly as directed to manage chronic pain. My treatment is well documented and monitored by the medical professionals involved in my care. Ignorant assumptions are part of the problem. When someone leads with assumptions instead of curiosity, facts rarely change their mind because they weren't interested in the facts to begin with. Yes, I'm still annoyed about yesterday. I'm human, and I'm doing my best. That's all any of us can do. Sometimes it's okay to admit you got something wrong. I know I do. I'm proud I fix myself when I'm the issue and when others don't want resolution, like I do - I step away. Accountability means caring enough to reflect, apologise when necessary, and do better.  An apology isn't just words; it includes changed behaviour.  Real...

....try to think positive:

Meeting was really upsetting and traumatising, didn't really cope with it too well and it was really difficult but we're finally getting some help.  I just hope they dont go back on their word.  We are supposedly getting a temporary stairlift and i am up for review later, I know even though im disabled for life, but if that is what they need to do it's ok as i am using it as goal to try and get better for baby, even though the odds are against us at an 80% chance of damage during physio. Should be getting grab rails all over to stop me falling, hate falling over, ramps at both doors and a bath lift too.  Just really hope they don't change their minds...  ....wont be happy til its all done and definite as been messed about way too much now. 9 months was long enough with my suffering....

Finally meet the light at the end of the tunnel:

Never mind baby meeting the light at the end of the tunnel, I did today when I met my new consultant and the new midwife that dealt with me today. I was extremely scared and anxious and worried about my baby and all the talk of high risk and things and this morning on the way I got a call from a children in need team lady which panicked me lots as it is all unnecessary but if they insist on wasting their time I am more than confident that they will be able to see the facts. Saw the midwife before the consultant and I broke down and cried a bit and was honest about my past and how things have gone so far, and all I want is to be able to walk again, have a healthy baby make sure he is ok and be the best mam I can be, she gave me all my results from back in August till today, which no one had given us previously and she gave me a much needed cuddle. That cuddle was just enough to lift all the stress and weight from our shoulders we have been carrying till today, 37th week in pregnancy. S...

Clexane, Clots and Birthing plans:

It was last saturday, I had a problem when I gave myself my Clexane injection into my left thigh, it was extremely painful and abmormal. I had administered it more than 14 times and never had any problems, I phoned urgent care centre as there was a lump present too and my mam was concerned. (My midwife's phone was switched off). Having told them I was under the care of my parents and at their home and having phoned from a different landline number to mine, I was waiting for her to call me back to state whether or not I could have a home visit. I had told her I was pregnant and had SPD. She sent two standard nurses to my home address whom woke up my husband who had been on a nightshift. He was scared hoping I was ok. I assured him I was just getting a check up and some advice as to where to inject 'tomorrow' etc. He gave them my parents address. 2 hours later I had heard nothing so phoned urgent care who said abrubtly and impatiently that they had passed it over to the nurse...
