My Boundaries Remain in Place: Today, I need to refocus on my driving as I prepare for my practical test. The noise, hostility and abusive distractions are not welcome. I keep reminding myself that storms pass. Until this situation is resolved, I will continue blocking anyone who brings hostility, harassment or personal attacks into my spaces. I am entitled to decide which people, organisations and community projects I promote on my own platforms. Our communities deserve spaces where people feel protected, respected and properly safeguarded. Because I have previously been harmed by organisations that were supposed to support me, I take concerns about conduct, accountability and positions of responsibility extremely seriously. I will not promote an organisation while I have unresolved concerns about the conduct of people affiliated with it, particularly where that conduct has caused me significant distress. That is a personal safeguarding boundary, not an instruction telling anyone else...

Family Time: I had a wonderful day yesterday with my son, Brandon. ❤️ He had such a difficult start in life and has overcome so many obstacles, including leukaemia. The young man he has become inspires me every day. He is intelligent, creative and endlessly fascinating, and I will always be incredibly proud to be his mam. Yesterday, he introduced us to the work of Kane Pixels and explained how he developed his interpretation of The Backrooms. We watched some of Kane’s earlier footage while Brandon enthusiastically talked us through the story, ideas and filmmaking behind it. Brandon loves everything connected to creepypasta, horror and mysterious online worlds, and I love seeing how passionate and knowledgeable he becomes when discussing the things that interest him. Good Food, Beautiful Views and Lovely Service at The New Board Inn: Today, we visited The New Board Inn Pub & Restaurant, and it was exactly the kind of peaceful and enjoyable experience I needed. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly kind, polite and helpful. We were made to feel welcome straight away, and the friendly service added so much to the experience. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and we were treated with genuine warmth throughout our visit. We had a lovely table beside the windows, with beautiful views stretching across the surrounding countryside. There is something especially calming about enjoying good food while looking out over open fields beneath a bright summer sky. I Emailed the Prime Minister to Demand Action on Systemic Ableism I emailed our Prime Minister because I can already see disabled people being targeted. Our community deserves to be supported—not blamed, punished or harmed further. Disabled people face entrenched barriers in employment, higher living costs and persistent discrimination, yet public debate too often treats us as the problem. This is what I sent: " Dear Prime Minister, I am writing to urge your government to take meaningful action against systemic ableism and create stronger incentives for employers to recruit, retain and promote disabled people. Disabled people continue to encounter significant barriers to employment, including inaccessible recruitment processes, discrimination, inadequate workplace adjustments and assumptions about our abilities. Me: No, but considering some people seem to think my walking stick is a fashion accessory, it doesn't hurt to remind people that they can't diagnose invisible conditions, fractures, dislocations, internal swelling, or any other medical condition with their eyes. People can be incredibly ignorant. If wearing a Sunflower Lanyard helps remind others that not every disability is visible and encourages a little more patience and respect, then that's no bad thing. Respect shouldn't have to be earned by proving you're disabled, but until society stops judging people by appearances, anything that helps challenge those assumptions has value. Copyright theft, Intent to Harm & Meta: I'm so frustrated : Meta has declined one of my copyright reports regarding over 20 incidents where my content was copied and redistributed without my consent, with the intent to cause harm, on the basis that they believe the content may fall under commentary, criticism or parody. My concern is that this decision appears to have been made without considering the wider context. The images form part of an ongoing police-reported cyberstalking investigation, involve my copyrighted photography and branding, and are accompanied by behaviour including repeated image theft, threats and unwanted contact. I've submitted evidence relating to each individual incident and respectfully ask Meta to conduct a full review of the complete evidence rather than assessing individual posts in isolation. Beamish Museum : 7/10 for accessibility: Today was an amazing day at Beamish Museum and I somehow managed an agonising 5,000 steps! 🥹💛 I can cry about it later 😂 but I'm genuinely proud of myself. Every step is part of my personal growth.  My disabilities are dynamic, which means some days are much harder than others, but I'm determined to keep moving forward. The ableist attitudes I've experienced over the years won't define what I'm capable of achieving. I let people misjudge me these days, it's easier ahaha. Beamish was fantastic.  The staff and visitors were lovely, respectful and it was wonderful seeing so many people of all ages enjoying themselves. The Truth about my false community protection notice: Since those targeting me are sharing my documents under false pretences - I decided to be brave enough to clarify: I couldn't do a video interview about one of my experiences of sexual assault because I was worried about retaliation. I didn't feel protected from that risk, and I stand with all survivors. 💜💜💜 I tried to seek help from a local support group, but in my experience they breached a verbal agreement between the police, the group and myself to remain impartial regarding another incident. After I left, I believe some members were encouraged by the group's facilitator to make false allegations about me, which led to an unsigned and undated Community Protection Notice being issued. That notice has since expired, yet people who have been targeting me online continue to circulate it under false pretences. Remember: Growth starts with accountability. I have never been diagnosed with, or experienced, paranoia. I also experience no side effects from my prescribed medical cannabis, none, which I use exactly as directed to manage chronic pain. My treatment is well documented and monitored by the medical professionals involved in my care. Ignorant assumptions are part of the problem. When someone leads with assumptions instead of curiosity, facts rarely change their mind because they weren't interested in the facts to begin with. Yes, I'm still annoyed about yesterday. Outgrowing Pains: No one tells you about the part of healing and self-growth that hurts. As you grow, you outgrow people who are illogical, lack self-awareness and enable poor behaviour without accountability. You lose a lot, but you also gain so much. I can no longer stand with people who support those targeting others. I no longer tolerate gaslighting, victim blaming or people defending those who invade someone else's lane instead of holding them accountable. I have a strong support network now. I have amazing friends, and there are far more decent people in my life than those who choose negativity. There Are No Vacancies for Abusers in My Life: I get rid of one stalker, and another seems to appear. Cyberstalking and online harassment are becoming frighteningly common, and I am absolutely done expecting people who repeatedly violate boundaries to suddenly develop self-restraint or self-control. High Force Waterfall: When Accessibility Is About More Than Ramps After the email I received today, I have made the difficult decision that I will no longer be visiting High Force Waterfall while I remain disabled. That is not a decision I wanted to make. I love nature. I love our countryside. I believe disabled people should be able to enjoy these beautiful places just as much as anyone else.
