The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is a simple but powerful way for people with non-visible disabilities and conditions to discreetly signal that they may need additional support, understanding or patience.
As someone who is autistic, has ADHD, hEDS, POTS and lives with chronic pain, my Sunflower lanyard has helped me communicate needs that aren't always obvious. Not every disability is visible, and a little kindness can make a huge difference.
The new Sunflower Extra initiative gives people another way to communicate important accessibility information, helping businesses and organisations provide more personalised support while promoting inclusion.
