The Gretna Green, Great Grub & Birthday Retreat Daydreams: Yesterday, Peter took me for some lovely food at Gretna Green in Newton Aycliffe. 💜 This place holds a lot of fond memories for me, and the staff are always welcoming, friendly, and helpful, even when they're rushed off their feet. Life hasn't exactly been gentle lately. I've had some incredibly difficult pain days, moments where my body has completely seized up, very little sleep, and more than my fair share of negativity directed my way. Yet I keep showing up, keep supporting others, and keep moving forward. One thing I've learned is that some people only know how to tear others down, while others know how to build people up. I'm choosing to focus on the people who support, encourage, and care.
