Copyright theft, Intent to Harm & Meta:

Image
Copyright theft, Intent to Harm & Meta: I'm so frustrated : Meta has declined one of my copyright reports regarding over 20 incidents where my content was copied and redistributed without my consent, with the intent to cause harm, on the basis that they believe the content may fall under commentary, criticism or parody. My concern is that this decision appears to have been made without considering the wider context. The images form part of an ongoing police-reported cyberstalking investigation, involve my copyrighted photography and branding, and are accompanied by behaviour including repeated image theft, threats and unwanted contact. I've submitted evidence relating to each individual incident and respectfully ask Meta to conduct a full review of the complete evidence rather than assessing individual posts in isolation. Where there is an ongoing pattern of alleged harassment, context matters. I hope Meta's specialist teams will review all of the evidence, apply their ...

Online Conduct Has Real-World Consequences:

Image
Online Conduct Has Real-World Consequences: One of the most common misconceptions I see online is the belief that behaviour only matters if someone is directly tagged, named, or if comments are made within a specific group. That simply isn't true. Social media platforms are interconnected spaces. Whether a comment is made on a personal profile, in a public group, on a page, or within a community discussion, the impact can still be very real. People do not need to be directly tagged for discussions to affect them. People do not need to be named for others to know who is being discussed. Context matters. When conversations become focused on individuals rather than issues, the impact can extend far beyond the original post. Rumours spread. Hostility grows. Assumptions are made. People begin taking sides based on partial information rather than evidence. This is particularly important when discussing safeguarding, community management, moderation, advocacy, or any situation involving v...

More Meta Struggles:

Image
Ok, so I got my account back yesterday but now they've disabled my ability to comment - on anything.  Can't offer Advocacy support. Can't wish people happy birthday. Can't share to stories still. Can't even access my page status section. I'm still here so if you need my support or help, send a DM. 🫶🏻 Your girl still got chu!  Sarah Wingfield ❤️ #disabilityinclusion #strongertogether #disability #disabilityawareness #disabilitysupport #DisabilityRightsAreHumanRights  Alt text: A cropped screenshot of a Facebook comment interface. At the top, a verified profile named “Sarah Wingfield” has typed the comment: “Sending love and healing vibes girl” followed by two red heart emojis. Overlaid beneath it is a Facebook notification saying, “You have been temporarily blocked from performing this action.” At the bottom of the screen, an error message reads, “Something went wrong. Please try again,” with a blue “Retry” button below.

Meta Support Fails to Hold Their Own Misuse of Policies and Procedures to Account:

Image
Meta Support Fails to Hold Their Own Misuse of Policies and Procedures to Account I have now reached the point where silence speaks louder than policy. After my account was demonetised by Meta over an image they classified as “sexual in nature,” (a chatGPT image falsely categorised as such) I followed the correct process. I asked for transparency. I asked for the legal basis. I asked for accountability. What I received instead was dismissal. Despite repeated, clearly written requests grounded in UK law, Meta support has refused to provide the most basic information required to justify an income-affecting enforcement decision. This is not a misunderstanding. This is not a disagreement over taste or content. This is a failure of governance. What I asked for (reasonably and lawfully) I formally requested: The specific policy provision relied upon to classify the content as sexual Confirmation of whether the demonetisation decision involved automated decision-making, human review, or a com...

Why so many Facebooks?

Image
Alt Text:  A pastel-style graphic featuring a torn sheet of lined paper taped to a beige background. On the paper, in bold bubble letters with pink shading, the text reads: “WHY SO MANY FACEBOOKS?” There are two small white daisy flowers with yellow centres in the bottom right corner of the paper. The overall design has a soft, cute, and playful aesthetic. Lately I've been attracting negative attention for having multiple pages and things. Trolls will find something they can latch on to and invade your space lol. (Block button ready 😉) However - since they are incapable of educating themselves on the matter, I am sharing this as an awareness post of WHY my Facebook's are set up THIS way. Alt text: Screenshot of a Facebook comment from Sarah Wingfield to a page called Blaze Against Corruption.  It reads "You're lucky yours didn't just vanish?! Wanna know how I have two kawaii doll decora accounts? Cos meta made one vanish like 12 yrs ago and only two years or last ...

More Facebook / Meta issues:

I've done nothing wrong and I keep losing my Facebook profiles and I'm being unfairly sabotaged by Facebook. I'm now suspended from recommendations for sharing a picture of my face.  It's really crazy how unfairly Facebook is treating some of us. I am a beta tester for Facebook and this is still happening to me when all I try is to help! I can't even verify with meta verification because I get this warning ⚠️ notice or error notice (see last image). Sarah x #Facebook #Meta #Metapaysupport #MetaforDevelopers #Kawaii Doll Decora

RIP Facebooks (again)

Image
RIP Facebooks again, it won't let me chat with them, confirm my ID or anything and I've not broken any rules so I don't understand it. Hate is rife and always wins. I'll be back later with a new Facebook - let's hope they sort all of this out though because they're making me lose decades of disability advocacy. #meta #facebook #disabled #closed #cancelled  UPDATE: https://www.facebook.com/share/1EYsQ2bW3m/ This link will take you to my new Facebook ❤️ Hey everyone - I have lost my Facebook profiles so if I was doing charity or community work with you or helping you as an independent disability advocate, working on a movie or film or anything else - you can find me here on my new created profile. I've lost my acting profile and my disability Advocating one, so have to start from scratch with this one. I've also lost access to my author, music, artist and acting promotion pages so I can only share from those ones. Please get in touch ❤️ I'm still here ...
