Family Time:

Family Time: I had a wonderful day yesterday with my son, Brandon. ❤️ He had such a difficult start in life and has overcome so many obstacles, including leukaemia. The young man he has become inspires me every day. He is intelligent, creative and endlessly fascinating, and I will always be incredibly proud to be his mam. Yesterday, he introduced us to the work of Kane Pixels and explained how he developed his interpretation of The Backrooms. We watched some of Kane’s earlier footage while Brandon enthusiastically talked us through the story, ideas and filmmaking behind it. Brandon loves everything connected to creepypasta, horror and mysterious online worlds, and I love seeing how passionate and knowledgeable he becomes when discussing the things that interest him. I had missed him and my parents so much. I have been exceptionally busy and working incredibly hard behind the scenes, so this much-needed family catch-up meant the world to me. We also enjoyed a lovely meal together at The...

Mr Flagman:

Image
Mr Flagman 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 (Poem by Sarah Wingfield) Mr Flagman, wrapped in red, white and blue, Shouting, "Freedom!"—but only for you. Proud to be British, you cry, uncensored and loud, Yet silence the voices that won't join your crowd. You claim to protect women, children, the weak, Until they disagree, until they dare speak. Then come the assumptions, the rumours, the lies, A story invented before truth even tries. You fill in the blanks with narratives made, Where facts disappear and fiction gets paid. A joke about flags, a wink and a grin, While threats hide beneath the humour within. "Let's find where they live." "It's only a laugh." Yet somehow it's always The vulnerable who feel the aftermath. "Come join the campaign." "Stand with the crew." But all that's required Is agreeing with you. The flags aren't for unity, They're banners of fear, A warning to anyone Who doesn't belong here. Inclusion is we...

23k Streams!

Image
23k Streams! I'm so proud to say we've officially passed 23,000 streams! 🎉🎶 How wild is that?! From creating music whilst bedbound to eventually releasing it into the world, this is something I never imagined would become a reality. Every stream represents someone taking a few minutes out of their day to listen to something I created, and that means more to me than words can express. Thank you to everyone who has streamed, shared, supported, and believed in my music. This is a dream come true, and I'm so excited to keep creating. ❤️✨ Sarah Wingfield ❤️ KDoll  #KDoll #OriginalMusic #IndependentArtist #Music #SingerSongwriter #NewMusic #23KStreams #MusicJourney #DreamComeTrue #DisabledArtist #ChronicIllness #BedboundToBrave #CreativeJourney #SupportIndependentArtists #ThankYou Alt text: Screenshot of K•Doll music streaming statistics showing a total of 23,401 streams over the last 12 months (June 2025–June 2026). The tiniest but most meaningful things:

Micah Sorensen | Meme-alos | #Spamily Sometimes it really is the tiniest thing that stops a full meltdown spiral. 😭💖 I just went to WAR with the house trying to find my medical vape. I stopped the washing machine mid-cycle, tore through bags, checked pockets, and was genuinely about to pull my hair out from the stress. Then I spotted this meme from the homies and it instantly made me laugh. 😭🪓✨ Not even joking… RIGHT after it cheered me up, I found my vape too. Thankfully it wasn’t in the wash. 💀😂 I love my spamily so much. Sometimes chaos + humour + community really does save the day. 🖤🔥 MCL 🪓🔥 Sarah | KDoll 🔥🪓 #Juggalette #Juggalo #Spamily #MCL #WhoopWhoop #FunnyUglyJuggalo #Fuggler #KawaiiHorror #AlternativeGirl #PinkAesthetic #ICPFamily #HorrorCute #KawaiiCore #DarkKawaii #ChaosGremlin #MedicalCannabis #NeurodivergentLife #ChronicIllnessWarrior #KawaiiDollDecora #UndergroundCulture #AltCommunity #Juggalos #PastelGoth #PinkAndBlack #FunnyMeme #EmotionalSupportMeme Alt Te...

City Rush 4 Wins October Award:

City Rush 4 Wins October Award for “Most Technically Excellent” at Athens International Monthly Art Film Festival 2025 I’m proud to share that City Rush 4 has received the October Award for “Most Technically Excellent” at the Athens International Monthly Art Film Festival 2025. This award recognises the technical craft behind the film — the precision, planning, and execution that go into making everything work cohesively on screen. It’s a category that highlights the often unseen work: cinematography, editing, sound, pacing, and the many technical decisions that shape the final result. This recognition belongs to the entire team. Film is never the work of one person, and City Rush 4 was a genuine collaborative effort. Every member of the cast and crew contributed skill, time, and professionalism, and this award reflects that collective dedication. Creating film is rarely easy. It requires adaptability, long hours, problem-solving, and commitment, often under pressure. To have that work...

Proud:

#proud  I’m so proud of those of us here who still recognise the importance of challenging and correcting harmful stigmas. ❤️ I’m proud of every one of you I see choosing to build others up, choosing kindness over hostility, help over judgement, and solidarity over division — because none of this is easy for us. We are worthy of support. ❤️ I’m also proud of those who, when a mirror is held up, choose accountability and growth. We are always one evolution away from becoming better versions of ourselves — and that choice is in our hands. When I get things wrong, I face it head on and I fix it. Yes, even when others want to fixate on it. I don’t change for optics — I change for me, because the people I support deserve my best. And sometimes, even the hardest lessons turn out to be blessings. 🙏🏻 I hope those of you who remain kind in difficult times stick around. We need more good than bad, and I am so tired of the bad. You can rest assured — I won’t be adding to it. 💯❤️ Sara...

Independent Visiting:

I saw my young person for the last time before Christmas today, and it was such a lovely way to wrap up the year. We went out for a coffee, exchanged presents, and had a really good catch-up. They’re doing so well, and I honestly couldn’t be prouder of them. Moments like this are exactly why I love what I do. It’s a real privilege to be part of someone’s journey — even in small, everyday ways. This kind of work can be challenging at times, but it’s also deeply rewarding, and more people should definitely consider it. It's meaningful work and I'm so happy to have this opportunity. We were also helped today by a wonderful lady called Angela at the food place, and we were so grateful for her kindness. It was lovely catching up and hearing all about my young person’s adventures — those moments mean so much. With Christmas Eve tomorrow, I’m feeling full of festive cheer, gratitude, and pride. Wishing everyone a truly wonderful Christmas. Sarah Wingfield ❤️ Alt text: Smiling person t...
