Let’s Talk Safety in the Film Industry:

Let’s Talk Safety in the Film Industry: The film industry can be an incredible space — creativity, collaboration, storytelling — all coming together to create something meaningful. It’s where ideas come to life and voices are amplified. But like any industry, it isn’t without its risks. And the truth is, recognising those risks early doesn’t just protect your career — it protects your wellbeing too. One of the clearest warning signs is a lack of transparency. When a production is vague about contracts, payment, roles, or expectations, that isn’t “creative freedom” — it’s uncertainty being normalised. You should always know exactly what you’re agreeing to, how you’ll be credited, and whether you’ll be paid. If those conversations are avoided, deflected, or rushed past, it’s worth asking why. Pressure is another red flag that often gets overlooked. Opportunities in this industry can feel rare, so when someone says “decide now or lose it”, it can be difficult to pause. But urgency like th...

Hard work leads to results:

Hard work leads to results: People only see the results of your hard work… they don’t see the sacrifices, the heartache, the late nights, the studying, the exhaustion it takes to get there. Someone said I’m successful - and that’s beautiful in its own way. Because in terms of love, my spirit tribe, connection, support, and friendships… yes, I am successful. 🤍 But business-wise? I’m not there yet, and that’s okay. 🫶🏻 What people are starting to see now is just the beginning of my journey. I still have mountains to climb. To me, success means living comfortably and creating real, positive change, helping others while I rise. I’ve got a long way to go… but I’m going. 💅🏻✨ And to those who uplift me, see me, and believe in me, from my heart, Thank you. Truly. I’m here, and I’m doing this… because you believed in me when I didn’t. Love to you all 🤍 Let's keep going?! ❤️ Sarah Wingfield  KawaiiDollDecora.uk #hardwork #sacrifices #advocacy #success #connection #community #support #mo...

City Rush 4 Wins October Award for “Most Technically Excellent” at Athens International Monthly Art Film Festival 2025 I’m proud to share that City Rush 4 has received the October Award for “Most Technically Excellent” at the Athens International Monthly Art Film Festival 2025. This award recognises the technical craft behind the film — the precision, planning, and execution that go into making everything work cohesively on screen. It’s a category that highlights the often unseen work: cinematography, editing, sound, pacing, and the many technical decisions that shape the final result. This recognition belongs to the entire team. Film is never the work of one person, and City Rush 4 was a genuine collaborative effort. Every member of the cast and crew contributed skill, time, and professionalism, and this award reflects that collective dedication. Creating film is rarely easy. It requires adaptability, long hours, problem-solving, and commitment, often under pressure. To have that work...

Diamond Dogs (2025) Review – A Quirky, Chaotic British Heist Caper With Heart:

Diamond Dogs (2025) Review – A Quirky, Chaotic British Heist Caper With Heart A solid 7/10 stars! By Sarah Wingfield The heist movie has had many incarnations over the years—from the smooth precision of Ocean’s Eleven to the slapstick charm of The Pink Panther . But Diamond Dogs (2025), directed by Kris Smith and co-written with Joseph Betts , barrels onto the screen with a distinctly British flavour—equal parts crime caper, comedy of errors, and heartwarming ode to friendship. The story follows the legendary bromance of Paul Canterbury ( Nick Elliott ) and Rick Foster ( Andy Blithe ), whose cheeky banter and quick-fire one-liners carry the film from its slow-burn opening to its chaotic, diamond-studded finale. Their bond is instantly endearing: whether trading jabs about air fryers, stumbling through slapstick antics, or breaking into tangents mid-conversation (as we all know someone does), the duo feel refreshingly authentic. What sets Diamond Dogs apart from many low-budget heis...
