Vulnerable Disabled Woman Silenced by Police After False Allegations, Caught on Film:

Contemporaneous Account – Police Attendance re Community Protection Notice

Date: 25 November 2024

Recording: An audio and video recording of this interaction exists and is retained by me.

On 25 November 2024, a police officer attended my address and sought to issue a Community Protection Notice (CPN) based on allegations relating to my online activity. The CPN was NOT signed or Dated, no officer details were provided and it did not state the start date or the end date.

The officer stated that the justification for issuing the notice was that I had made “shares” online and that “there was more than one comment.”

No specific content was identified, no evidence was presented to me, and no explanation was provided as to how this activity met the statutory threshold required for a Community Protection Notice.

I was not informed of my rights, including:

my right to challenge the allegations,

my right to view or receive evidence,

my right to seek legal advice prior to compliance,

or the appeal process.

The officer stated that the CPN would be “in effect even if I don’t sign it.” This statement was made without any explanation of my legal protections, options, or safeguards.

During the interaction, I expressed serious concern that the police were effectively supporting harassment and bullying by acting on unsubstantiated complaints and using enforcement powers to silence lawful expression.

I explicitly stated that I wished to seek legal advice before agreeing to or accepting anything.

At no point did the officer address my concerns regarding false allegations, potential misuse of powers, or the impact this action could have on my safety, wellbeing, or ability to continue lawful advocacy and expression.

I am making this record because the notice was issued without transparency, without explanation of rights, and on vague assertions rather than evidence.

An audio and video recording of the interaction exists and supports this account, and is shared alongside this statement for transparency and information purposes.

The abuse, harassment, and ostracism I experienced after speaking out about my mistreatment are, unfortunately, still ongoing.

This began after I sought appropriate resolution and support following sexual assault, asked for inclusion in community press, and requested a simple apology.

Instead of accountability, I was further targeted and marginalised.

As shown in the video above, this has been compounded by police involvement, which has exacerbated rather than resolved the situation.

You can read more about the ongoing impact and why abuse cannot simply be “let go of” while it continues here:

Below are images of the CPN issued to me following false allegations. These documents form part of the ongoing issues outlined above.

I do not condone abuse of power, false allegations, or the escalation of harm in place of support.
