Perspective:

If you keep your mind speaking to people who have seen war, and experienced real loss it has a very strong way of helping you with clarity; you start seeing how selfish people are with their idealisms and expectations and yet not one individuals words align with their actions as they gossip and belittle and invalidate, they themselves become their own enemy, an enemy of themselves, their loved ones and their town.

When people are asleep like they are with nothing to wake them up to the harsh reality they are hard to satisfy, their ego wants to be fed and they have no clue what it's like to really survive.

I do understand what some mean however, I travelled recently and leaving my hometown people got friendlier and more compassionate and kinder, less hateful and spiteful comments the more you enter the bigger cities with real problems and homelessness, people have forgotten what it means to appreciate because they have no real loss to compare their world views too, they're too busy pushing their own agenda onto others to take a step back and have the bravery to step in anothers shoes.

We still have a town.

All is not lost, and yet, with what some say, you'd think we were in Chernobyl.

I now thank people for noticing my passion for the truth when they try to offend me. Yes, I am indeed authentic but my agenda has and always will be to bring people together and no one can change that no matter the false narratives they choose to spread.

I stand strong in my ways and on my foundation because unlike others, my words align with my actions.

I now thank them for noticing my passion for change, I've stepped back and away as I've been ostracised and isolated and I'm accepting I'm not wanted, that's more than fine because to others, I'm useful, and to them I make all the difference in the world.

My attentions are now focused on those who see me for who and how I am and see my potential and the truth these days, and I'm much happier for it.

If I 'twist' I bring solutions with me, I'm a problem solver and actions are more important than words.

Never address a problem if you aren't willing to work hard towards a solution for it's never the problem itself, but how the problem is truly resolved that actually counts.

And I stand on that.
