Sunshine and Seasides:
My wonderful partner Peter and I, went to an arcade yesterday in Redcar and I love the images Peter captured of me!
It was wonderful to seize the day of sunshine, as it's been so scarce, and so we decided to make the best of the warm and rare British sunny weather.
We visited an ice cream place called Gabrielle's to which I enjoyed a lemon top sundae and Peter enjoyed a Pistachio sundae and we visited a park on the way home.
It was nice to sit and watch the sea for a while. Beautiful and calming.
I've come so far since being housebound/bedbound and I'm finally starting to feel like I can start and enjoy life more. I don't have a lot of 'easy' days so I'm super grateful when the warmer weather brings with it, ease of movement and a bit of a break from an increase in pain.
Although I still need to pace myself and rest, I am looking forward to making more amazing and happy memories now that the weather is warming up!
It's so crazy what a few years can change if you make the right changes and commitments and I finally feel like I'm starting to enjoy more when it comes to my little life.
I hope this continues and I will continue with my pain management and meditation and keeping toxicity out of my life.
A wonderful day at the seaside to some, an amazing memory I'll cherish forever, for me.
