Job Interview:

I haven't had a job interview for a very long time and I was so anxious. This sort of work is so important to me and I'm someone who focuses on actioning positive change, so of course I was anxious as this sort of work means a lot to me.

I know I could do it well and I have a passion to help and uplift people in a world that is all too keen on bringing people down.

It's in the hands of the universe now, I hope I articulated well as anxiety can impact me and I arrived smartly dressed and well prepared.

I find out later today and then will have to update my DurhamEnable career worker and do the access to work paperwork and move forward.

If not then it wasn't meant to be and my journey is to take a different path.

Of course I hope I get it, it would help with some financial support and independence and I like to feel useful as I've worked hard and sacrificed so much to get all of the skills and education and experience I have to date.

I care about the disabled community and will always fight for accessibility and positive change, as well as trying to change the false perspectives people have.

Disabled individuals that are given tools to help them in interviews don't give them an advantage over other applicants, it gives them a fairer chance to be on the same level as other applicants and views like that can be detrimental because fair access is important.

We need to change a lot of the false perspectives in society and implement awareness and support where needed.

All I can do is my best in life and what's meant to be will gravitate towards me, I practice gratitude and appreciation always and my path will always be to help others and make the world a better place for all.

Update: 15:57hrs

Didn't get it, I was overqualified tbh but they don't think I have the skillset for some unknown reason. Oh well. No details as to why.

I am still starting my own business and that's my goal now as well as ALL the work I do as well as that and the studying, that job I could have done blindfolded but you can't get people to see your capabilities unfortunately. I even sent them the link to the free webinars I was talking about in the interview. Things happen for a reason. ❤️🥳 I'm going to celebrate me anyway this evening.

I am proud of me. 💪🏻🔥🥳
