I'm so proud of my community:

It's been nine months since I created this group for my community, can I start referring to it as my 'baby' now?! Ahaha.

All jokes aside I just want to say a huge thank you to all for joining and working together with us to make a safe space for all Newtonians, no matter what side of any fence anyone is on.

Thoughtful communication and discussions are welcomed, it's ok to disagree with someone and this is a safe space to hash things out and seek resolution as well as speak ones mind.

Please remember this group holds no liability for what people post, the individuals themselves are liable for all that they say and post.

A huge 🎉 Congratulations 🎉 to everyone for reaching 4.2k members and remember to share anything or post anything you feel is on your mind or beneficial to the community as a whole.

It doesn't matter who clashes with who or whether people see eye to eye or not, what truly matters is how well our community puts their own issues or opinions to one side to work together and make our town better for all of us.

It's ok to be different, working together we can achieve so much more!

I see a lot of inspirational people in my hometown and I see a lot of people doing a lot of work behind the scenes too, I want to do a shout out to all of those, including our council members from Great Aycliffe Town Council who have been kind enough to allow myself and others to meetings and see how we can help with the town.

The reporters who are helping us Newtonians fight the smell and other issues, thank you Sam, and to ALL our charities who act with kindness and care.

We appreciate you.

Another shout out to Andrew Hill and Phillip Hawkins for their amazing work with Around Town - Aycliffe Radio and constantly working hard to bring us all some amazing guests every Sunday!

An additional thanks to those of Newton Aycliffe Police (tagged) who are supporting our town with PACT meetings and came to speak at council meetings.

Thank you to those mentioned as well as those not mentioned, it would be a long list, we appreciate all the good work people of Newton Aycliffe do and I'm so proud to be able to help others and work with others to solve any issues, no matter how small and provide a safe platform for all.

Thank you so much for being a part of this group and community and from all of us at Aycliffe Uncensored we wish you a wonderful month of June!!
