Becoming Who I Dreamed Of:

Becoming Who I Dreamed Of:

I just wanted to take a moment to be present and truly appreciate how far I’ve come.

There was a time I was bedbound and housebound, fighting every single day just to get through life — and if you had told me five years ago that I’d be stepping onto a movie set next month, she would have laughed in disbelief. Yet here we are.

I work epically hard across everything I do, and because I’m always focused on future goals and building the next project, I don’t always stop to appreciate what I’ve already achieved. But today, I am.

I’ve built incredible connections across the music industry, film industry, Juggalo fam communities, charities, advocacy groups, and community organisations. Behind the scenes, we’re still pushing forward with mental health awareness, supporting Let’s Talk North East CIC, setting up community spaces and continuing to create meaningful change.

Creativity has honestly kept me alive. I love creating, building, connecting and helping people. And for the first time in a very long time, I’m genuinely excited for what the future is about to bring.

So this is your reminder too: please stop sometimes and acknowledge your progress. Even if you still have goals left to reach, never minimise the battles you’ve already survived or the life you’ve managed to create despite everything.

I’m proud of myself. And I think bedbound me would be proud too.

Sarah Wingfield, also known as K•Doll, sits confidently on a set of yellow-painted concrete stairs in a dark urban stairwell. She wears glasses, cat ear accessories, casual streetwear and holds a walking stick in front of her. Bright neon pink angel wings and a glowing crown graphic have been digitally added behind her, creating a bold fantasy aesthetic. Smoke effects and a vintage film-frame overlay add a cinematic feel, while the neon pink and green “K•Doll” logo appears across the lower steps.
