BBC Broadcast Webinar:
✨ I’m taking part in this BBC careers webinar — and I’m genuinely excited to learn. ✨
On 18 February, I’ll be joining “Inside the Broadcast: Careers That Power the BBC”, a behind-the-scenes webinar exploring the roles and people that keep the BBC running 24/7.
What I’m most looking forward to is learning directly from BBC professionals working in Media Operations and Broadcast Engineering — the areas we don’t usually see, but that make everything possible. I want to understand more about how live broadcasting actually functions day-to-day, how teams coordinate under pressure, and what skills really matter in modern media roles.
As someone who’s always been curious about how creative industries actually work behind the scenes, this session feels especially valuable. I’m keen to hear real career journeys, how people got their foot in the door, how they’ve adapted as the industry evolves, and what opportunities are emerging now — particularly in technical, operational and cross-disciplinary roles.
💡 What I’m hoping to take away:
• A clearer understanding of how the BBC keeps content flowing across TV, radio and online
• Insight into the technical and transferable skills that open doors in broadcasting
• Honest, lived experiences from people working inside the industry
• Inspiration and practical knowledge I can carry forward into my own creative and media work
🗓 18 February 2026
⏰ 6–7pm GMT
📍 Online (Zoom)
I love opportunities that pull back the curtain, share knowledge openly, and show that there isn’t just one path into media. Really looking forward to being part of this and learning from the people who make it all happen.
👉 Register now if you’re curious about what happens behind the broadcast.
