Around Town- Only SOME of the town:
It’s been a year.
A year of hate campaigns, ostracising, and bullying — and still, no one is being held to account. No communication. No community support.
Councillors Hawkins and Hill joined in the hate campaigns and chose harmful behaviour alongside some other Newtonians - because elitism and ego and harm; appear to be more important than being a community supporter or helping the town or community.
Great Aycliffe Town Council I am still being excluded and bullied by Cllr Hawkins and Cllr Hill. I don't understand what makes grown men follow orders off someone else to be harmful to their community instead of helpful. It's disgusting. Heartbreaking 💔.
All of our #community matters.
Had to complain - not that it will do much as Durham County Council tend to side with abusers these days and those who harm and ostracise and silence disabled voices - than help them and ask accountability of those on their staff. #kindnessmatters
People should make sure that their actions are kind and fair and that they go down in history as people to look up to - not people who condone hate campaigns, ostracism and abuse.
Actions are what make YOU, so make sure you act RIGHT.

Tired of everything being a fight when I sacrifice so much and work so hard - only to deal with grown men who think bullying is the answer and not supporting their WHOLE community.

They don't care about OUR TOWN or US, if they did, their actions would be different.

A collage of Facebook posts and screenshots showing Sarah Wingfield’s repeated attempts to share community updates and events on local pages. Her posts include positive community messages such as “How do you get community posts approved on here? #StrongerTogether” and “I’ve been sharing some community posts on here to help my community.” Despite her efforts, her posts appear ignored or unapproved while others are shared freely. At the top of the image, large text reads: “They don't care about OUR TOWN or US, if they did, their actions would be different.” The image highlights Sarah’s frustration at being excluded from local community pages despite her efforts to contribute positively.
