The Upside Down - Project Escape:

Review — The Upside Down, Project Escape Middlesbrough ⭐ 7/10

Today we visited The Upside Down escape room at Project Escape in Middlesbrough and had such a fun time! ☺️🖤

The challenge gives you 60 minutes to escape the Upside Down, working your way through a series of puzzles, clues and surprises. The room itself is really well thought out and planned, and once you're inside you can communicate with the team using a radio if you need help or guidance.

Before the challenge starts, the staff explain everything very thoroughly, which I really appreciated. They were also incredibly friendly, welcoming and accommodating throughout our visit. ✨

The main downside for me was accessibility. I couldn't see a lift and there are three flights of stairs to reach the escape room, so unfortunately it wouldn't be accessible for everyone with mobility difficulties. I'd definitely recommend contacting them beforehand if you have access requirements.

Overall, though, it was a really enjoyable experience and a lovely way to spend the day. If you enjoy puzzles, themed experiences and working together under pressure, it's definitely worth a go!
