Accessibility, job searches and Peace:
Image: A Facebook post by myself about the importance of accessibility and not being afraid of using different aids as and when you need them. ❤️
I need to do my make up and get ready for the food festival. I need to be out and enjoying the sunnyshine after everything I've been going through.
I appreciated the job centre so much this morning and the lady I met with was an absolute star!
I have several upcoming appointments that could all potentially help me and she was so kind and understanding with everything I've gone through.
I've taken the steps to improve my life and I don't quit and keep going to see what happens if I don't give up, she said I've just not found the right match job wise yet and I'm hopeful with all the information (there was a lot) I've taken away and with the upcoming appointments that I'll be able to move forward so I can keep affording my pain management and find some much needed financial independence.
I'm wearing my hippy top today with the positive affirmation "You have the right to feel how you feel" and I'm grateful that our tesco store has accessible scooters which helped me with the shop we needed to do today.
I could not get into the car due to someone parking at an angle so my partner Peter moved the car forward and that was a big help.
I can relax for a little while and then start getting ready for the food festival and I really hope and pray for better days, more positive memories and peaceful moments.
I need them so much.
