Fridays:
Busy day tomorrow!
Finally got a job centre appointment so I'm going to see how they can help me RE accessibility and part time work.
Finished notes for a podcast I will be doing with DurhamEnable about their services and what it is like to be disabled. I hope it will help lots of people and is relatable and uplifting!
Then if I'm not too achy, I hope to join my hometown at their food festival event so if you see me there say hi! There'll be live music and plenty of food to enjoy!
Last time I was there I was running the Aycliffe Uncensored page (I had to step down from creating and running the page due to ostracising issues from local organisations etc which made it difficult to manage the page and do the community work) and I had filmed for that page but tomorrow I'm just going to enjoy myself and capture footage for my personal blog and social media channels.
Today however is a rest day, as I've had a very difficult week and life has tested me this week as it can do a lot, so I'm taking it easy now so I can show up for myself and what I need to do tomorrow.
Let's hope the weather stays sunny tomorrow like it is today and everyone has a good time.
I work hard with all that I do and I'm proud of myself for never quitting, only walking away from places and spaces that are unsafe for me and for constantly helping others and actioning positive change for all.
Let's see what happens when we don't give up!
