Society is THE problem:
Society is THE problem:
Someone's disability may prevent them from doing certain things but the biggest obstacles disabled people face are barriers that are built by our broken society.
People can't hold their hands up and admit fault anymore, they only care about a certain thing when it happens to them or affects them and that needs to change.
I am not perfect but I already call myself out and fix me when I need to and more people NEED to be like me. If it helps to mislabel me with derogatory labels instead of acknowledging who and how I actually am, then you yourself are choosing that. I won't fight you justifying negativity or abuse because I can't make you care.
The disabled deserve access to the same things that are a luxury for abled-bodied people and when I advocate I understand I am controversial and people will misunderstand and not listen to my actual words and others will be hateful, spiteful, distort the context and use experiences as an excuse to dictate, hate, be abusive or invade others lanes without even acknowledging how they themselves are changing nothing with their negative choices and I can live with that.
I'm hated for the right reasons and I get people to look at the bigger pictures instead of taking sides and this gets people to talk about the important things.
Freedom of expression is important but I'm allowed to ask people to check themselves and they're allowed to dislike that.
This world is far from caring, kind and compassionate and it needs to change as good people get bullied and bad people get away with bad acts.
We need to challenge society not just to be more accessible, disabled friendly, animal friendly, kid friendly and supportive but to actually action positive change to make these a reality.
We need to work together to do this, negative energy won't ever solve anything but taking a step back and reviewing your behaviour and considering how you impact others leads to better problem solving and a more positive self-reflection that can open doors to lead to people to work together and communicate better and it's teamwork that will force people's hands into actually changing things in the real world to make society better.
Thanks for the hate, thanks for the love, it's all a part of reality and it's all a lesson which are always a blessing and I truly hope society overcomes the barriers regarding human behaviour to help turn the tables in the favour of building a better world.
