Consistency is the key to success!
🎉 Facebook recognized me as a consistent post creator this week! Despite the obstacles life keeps throwing my way, I keep showing up and committed to my own goals! 🙏🏻✨
Consistency is the key to success!
I did some meditation after dealing with more unwanted and unnecessary negativity this morning and I'm feeling more like my little chirpy dork self again!
Mike Davies is doing well post surgery so that's more good news, as he knows we've all been thinking of him and Ayshea Osman you're a star!
A huge shout out to The Auckland Shanty Singers too because Joan and Christopher have a sweet spot in my heart! Mad appreciate you lovelies!! 🙏🏻✨☺️
I just want to finish by asking people, if you are gonna comment and say something can you question WHY you're doing it first and if it will help or harm because social media is getting worse and worse and people's ideas of professionalism these days is quite frankly the opposite to how I would define it!
Also when someone does the SAME thing as YOU did and you're NOT okay with it, why expect them to be okay when YOU did it?!
Just be kinder, it's not rocket science, anyone and everyone can hate, so be different!
I'm still building my brand (to fund and help keep supporting community) and what I do is mostly behind the scenes but the people I help deserve help, a lot of people are left struggling because those that promised to help aren't and haven't, I can't fix everything but I can try my hardest to make a positive difference for others.
I wish people googled me and fact checked though, I swear if I was a man under this kind of unnecessary heat, I'd be on the front cover of magazines lol!
What is it about a woman bettering herself, leading by example, being a whistleblower, challenging harm and building up something that gets mens and some women's backs up? Eeeh I don't know.
As if it's not hard enough for disabled people, but I will absolutely hold a mirror up if you're being a jerk in MY spaces and absolutely ask you to fix yourself or stay away.
I'm not afraid of being disliked, I'm just afraid of people that act idiotic online and making threats, I don't care if people speak on me, use my name, vent, but don't make up false narratives, don't incite violence, and stop trying to paint me as a villain when I asked you to behave and have given you ALL the chances.
I won't apologise for not being a doormat!
I won't apologise for naming individuals after a whole week of severe harrassment so people around me who are starting to be harrassed too can block them and protect themselves.
That's called safeguarding lovelies.
It's one thing abusive people targeting me or thinking I'm an easy target and people being gullible enough to believe the rhetoric but when you start contacting my family and friends and as a mother to a child - I absolutely draw the line!!
Shout out to other amazing people that have known me quite some time and would have been good to have been contacted about me prior to people making assumptions and ostracising and bullying me for things I've not even done!!!

Sarah: Changing the Narrative
Just a few of many but follow their pages please and show these kind souls kindness in return!
Sending love to Denise Laverty who is also in my thoughts today and please follow her page as she's making some wonderful cancer awareness tea light scent packages and it's all in aid of Great Aycliffe Cancer Support Group a group close to my heart and to which Aycliffe Alternative Magazine was proud to shine a light on recently. ❤️
I thought getting out of my bedbound situation and wheelchair would be the hardest thing I'd ever have to do, I was wrong, it's navigating a negative world and society afterwards.
But Disabilities are disabilities for a reason so struggles are normal, it's up to others whether they want to make something easier or harder!
Please stop making things harder though, in all honesty!! 🙏🏻✨
We are #StrongerTogether
Some good things are coming up and some amazing opportunities and projects and I'm so proud of never quitting and making it this far, if people think ostracism and abuse will stop me, you don't know me!
It lights a fire under me and I work harder for those around me dealing with similar experiences!
So keep fueling my fire and determination because I will absolutely set examples as to how people should behave and how we can bring community together!
And to do that it isn't being biased, removing disabled women and advocates over false rumours and hate campaigns, but building and maintaining safe spaces so real discussion can occur and everyone can feel heard!!

A bright pink graphic featuring a circular portrait of a woman with long dark brown hair, glasses, and a black blazer, smiling softly at the camera. The portrait is set against a black circular background in the centre of the image. Surrounding her are floating pink and red cartoon-style hearts, sparkles, stars, and decorative doodles. In the bottom right corner sits a cute pink heart-shaped character with a smiling face and outstretched arms. The overall design is cheerful, playful, and kawaii-inspired, using shades of pink throughout.
