The court of social media has adjourned:
The #CourtOfSocialMedia has spoken.
#Judge #Jury and #Executioner
...and I'm still proud of me. ❤️✨
This isn't new to me. 🙏🏻✨
I'm neurodivergent. I've spent much of my life watching people rush to conclusions, make assumptions, and form opinions before all the facts are known.
I've seen victims blamed.
I've seen rumours spread faster than evidence.
I've seen narratives become accepted as truth simply because they were repeated often enough.
Abuse is often loud. Self-defence can get lost in the noise and judged as harshly as the behaviour it is responding to.
The world isn't always fair.
I blog about both my highs and my lows because I believe in transparency and authenticity. I want people facing similar hardships to know they are not alone.
I've been accused of having an "agenda" more times than I can count. If supporting local people, advocating for disability rights, amplifying community voices, and speaking against abuse is an agenda, then I make no apology for it.
I work for free and at cost because community support matters to me.
I have spoken up when I felt wronged.
I have spoken up when others were wronged.
I have spoken up when staying silent would have been easier.
And despite the consequences, I would do so again.
Many of the claims made about me can be challenged with evidence, context, and facts.
Unfortunately, reputational harm can occur long before people take the time to look deeper.
That hurts.
I'm only human.
However, I refuse to allow other people's opinions to define my character, my values, or the work I have spent years building.
I will continue supporting local people, amplifying local voices, advocating for disability rights, standing against abuse, and helping where I can.
People are free to make their own decisions about me. ❤️
I simply hope those decisions are made after looking at the full picture.
I used to stand alone.
Today, I don't.
For that, I am grateful beyond words.
Until then, I'll keep going.
Turn pain into power.
I share these screenshots for transparency and thank the admin kindly for the time I was able to help others in their group! 🙏🏻✨ Those people still matter.

Collage of multiple Facebook Messenger screenshots documenting a conversation between Sarah Wingfield and the administrators of the Facebook group "You know you're from Darlo when."
The first screenshots show Sarah politely contacting the page after noticing she could no longer access the group. The administrators respond with a lengthy message explaining that she has been removed from the group. Their message states that they believe she has taken over another Darlington-based community group to promote a personal agenda, criticises her disability awareness content, references her blog posts discussing the behaviour of others, and claims that a review of her online presence shows repeated accusations of bullying and harassment against individuals and organisations. The message concludes by requesting that she does not post anything defamatory about the group or its administrators.
The remaining screenshots show Sarah's response. She thanks the administrators for informing her, states that she disagrees with the allegations made about her and believes she has evidence to challenge them, but acknowledges and respects the group's right to decide who participates. She explains that police are dealing with individuals she believes have behaved abusively towards her, reiterates that abuse is never justified, confirms that she has no intention of engaging in further dispute, and wishes the administrators and group members well. In a final message, she notes that she has left positive feedback on the page, has no intention of removing it, and encourages the group to continue supporting the local community.
The overall tone of the collage contrasts a formal removal notice containing allegations and criticism with a calm, polite, and conciliatory response from Sarah, who accepts the decision while disputing the claims made about her.
